Pictures from February 2002 experiment. D(d,n) gas cell or
15N(p,n) gas cell inside of sphere. Incident deuteron energies
of 3.0 and 5.0, 7 MeV with d(d,n) with larger iron sphere.
The 15N(p,n) measurements were completed with 5.1 MeV protons incident
on the gas. Both the small and large sphere transmission were measured.
Sphere transmission measured with lithium glass detector at 90 degrees
for 5.1 MeV protons on 15N, for all other energies and angles a NE213
5"x2" neutron detector was used. Measurment with
the gas cell alone at 0, 15, 45, 90, 120 and 135 degrees.
